Organizational Background
SPDA stands for Special Person Development Association, which is a Registered Voluntary Non - governmental, non profitable and non-political organization, working for the welfare of the Disabled peoples. SPDA (Special Person Development Association) was established in 2003 It is duly registered with Social Welfare Department , NWFP, Peshawar under Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies VSWA (Registered and Control) ordinance 1961.. An activity of the organization includes Social Justice, Public Awareness, Poverty, Disability Issues, Advocacy, Health and Education.
Since its establishment SPDA has been actively involved in the welfare of rural population with primary focus on Disabled Persons to empower them for their basic rights, social justice, Advocacy and poverty alleviation.
SPDA strives to eradicate poverty and uplift the quality of life of the rural population. SPDA as a local organization aims to create awareness among the local masses for their basic rights through social mobilization and community organization to enhance their capacities and to empower them for their basic Rights.
Objectives of the organization
? Education (Special Education and Inclusive Education for PWDs )
? Skill Development (Income Generation and Training project for PWDs)
? Health Facilities to PWDs
? Cure and Rehabilitation of PWDs
? To serve as a flexible catalyst, to assist in the identification of opportunities, to promote equitable and sustainable development patterns among the Disabled Persons in the rural areas of NWFP and in drawing in the resources (technical assistance, financial support, training, infrastructural development etc.), to enable the local Disabled Persons to make full use of these opportunities.
? To act as a training organization to provide a wide range of local skills to include the Disabled Persons in the main stream of development process in the managerial and practical subjects. The purpose of this training is to increase the capacity of Disabled Persons to manage more effectively their resources of sustainable and productive development.
? To work with government agencies, NGOs, Donors, and private businesses that can provide services (extension, training, marketing, finance and so on) to support the rural Disabled and Poor Peoples in development activities.

To promote a prosperous, peaceful, just & stable society where all the peoples could live with dignity, peace and harmony making the best use of their God gifted skills.

? Rehabilitation and Cure for Persons with Disabilities.
? Raising public acceptance and improving social integration and environment.
? Legislative support for PWDs.
? Poverty Alleviation through capacity building, social security and sustainable livelihood programmes.

This registered organization was set up in 2005 to help relieve suffering of the poor and homeless Kashmiri people.
ALHAMDULILLAHA
With your help and support,we are running out 5 different development projects benefiting the poor Kashmiri communities in whole of Jammu and Kashmir.
1- CHILD SPONSORSHIP:
Bab-ul-Huda social welfare organization has been running this scheme for 2006.any individual can participate in this scheme by paying 20$ per month through banker’s standing order.For this,you are bringing up and orphan child in Kashmir.
2- HEALTH CARE;
Organization has set up dispensaries and clinics to provide medical need for poor people .
3- vocational training centre:
Bab-ul-Huda social welfare organization aj&k provides vocational training especially for widows , orphan and poor women enabling them to learn valuable skills .,especially sewing,embroidery and knitting ,which helps them to earn their livelihood.two centers were opened in Sehnsa distt Kotli A;K.
4- BAB-UL-HUDA SCHOOL SYSTEM
Bab-ul-huda social welfare organization AJ&K has opened a chain of schools named as Bab-ul-huda school system working at different places of azad kashmir.
PRESENTLY HOW MANY BAB-UL-HUDA SCHOOL SYSTEM ARE WORKING AND WHERE
Presently our 05 schools are working named as Bab-ul-huda school system are following places:

FOR YOUR KIND INFORMATION OUR FUTURE PLAN IS TO OPEN MORE SCHOOLS.AS SUCH OUR SCHOOLS PROJECTS STARTED ONLY WITH OUR OWN SOURCES AND WE BELIEVE TO SERVE WITHOUT any name and fame .presently almost 500 students started studies in our newly established schools .in future INSHALLAHA we will accommdate more students to provide free quailty education to the poor students the different areas of Azad Kashmir .In this regard we appeal the Donors/Foreigners to extend their Financial co-operation by vdonation the following items required the students /childern.

Water is almighty,s greatest and precious gift to the mankind .Bab-ul-huda social welfare organization is providing clean and drinking water by digging and installing tube wells.The cost for a well is between 1000$ t01500$ your name plate will be installed at the site .
